We've had many family members at hardy-close. I have to see they've always given great... service. Just recently my mother in law passed away. The service was great. The staff was very informative and helped is in every way possible. When I called to set up the appointment to vome in to finalize the arrangements, thankChristy was already on top of it. She let me know that they where on their way to pick up my mother in law. They had her hair and everything fixed just as the family had requested. Thanks too Christy and all the staff for making this time a little easier.read more

I cannot say enough about Close & Hardy Funeral Home and their directors, Clayton and Kristie.... From the very beginning, their compassion and attention to detail made a difficult time much easier for my family.One of the things I appreciated most was that they only serve one family at a time. This created a truly intimate and private atmosphere—we weren’t mourning alongside strangers, which gave us space to focus entirely on our loved one and each other.The facility itself was spotless and welcoming, with a very large room that included a kitchen and dining area. We were able to bring food for family and guests, and the amenities—a refrigerator, microwave, ice machine, and coffee—were so thoughtful and helpful during a long, emotional day.What stood out most, though, was the genuine care from Clayton and Kristie. On the day of the burial, I was deeply moved to see the funeral director share tears with our family. In an industry where you might expect people to become desensitized, their empathy was sincere and heartfelt.Everything about the service was beautiful, memorable, and brought our family real closure. I will always be grateful to Close & Hardy for the dignity and compassion they showed.read more

I don’t think there’s ever a way to prepare oneself to receive the news of the loss of a loved one; life certainly doesn’t check our calendars to make sure we have the time to deal with it that week.
